This is a song my 6th grade teacher taught us. I wondered if anyone else had ever heard it.

I had a little chicken

wouldn't lay an egg

poured hot water

up and down her leg

little chicken laid

a hard boiled egg

Same here, never heard that one. I always felt sorry for the Old Red Rooster (didn't want her to `come around the mountain').
