I got my new chickies yesterday from TSC! I had some last year, but we moved and I didn't think they allowed them in our new city. BUT THEY DO!! I can''t believe how excited I am! I was so shocked last year to find how much fun chickens were and how much personality they have. This has to be a much smaller operation, but at least I get to have a few!! We ended up with 6 Americuana's, which I thought were bantams, until I got home and realized only some are. Shouldn't be a problem though. We lost one this morning. The cat, which has never bothered my chickens before, brought it upstairs. I am not sure who actually killed it, the cat or the dog, but I got there too late. I just cant wait to see what they look like in a few months!!!

Last pic is my brooder set up. It's a large plastic pond and works great!!
