Thanks for your comments everyone. Yes, it is about 50 lovely chickies and the tubby is getting full. My partner will be taking his half to see how they grow out and decide if there are any keepers to add to his flocks. The other half are from mine and I will be culling out soon (meaning selling off the ones that I can already see don't fit my needs for whatever reason). Yes, I did hatch them all in the electronic thermostat styro hovabators. This was my first time hatching in those little buggers and it went very well, I must say.

This week I am getting the Sportsman and OvaEasy cleaned up and ready for eggs.

I can't wait!

As for the tub, it works well because we have two bathrooms and each has a tub and shower stall. So the master bathroom tub is used for "just hatched" chicks so I can keep a close eye on them. As they outgrow it or get too dusty, they are moved to the garage into bigger brooders. I do not line the tub and find it very easy to clean up. As for other pets, I keep the door shut and close off the heater vent so it doesn't get too hot in there for them. All works out well.
