Chickpeas...Garbanzo Beans to Chickens?

Can I feed Garbanzo Beans (Chickpeas) to chickens? I know there are tons of things they love to eat, but I never fed chickpeas to them.

I wouldn't see why they would be bad for them, I'm sure they would love them!!

Oh YES the loved them! They were going crazy over them. One would snatch one out of the container and another would chase them around then run back and get another bean. Hilarious...!
