Chicks..1.5 weeks old and

I found them on top of the radiant heat pad today. They have found their wings. The heat is about halfway between the bottom and the top of my brooder. I put some hardware cloth over one end and draped a piece of canvas cloth over the other end. Do I need to worry that they might fly out and get hurt? I wasn't expecting them to be able to fly up so soon.

I went and added some hardware cloth to keep them from flying out. Man..they are growing fast.
