My sister told me about the playpen on this site. I bought a playpen and a cover (we have many flying predators) that worked really well for our little chicks It is ferret.com -- they have an 8-panel and an 11-panel playpen and they delivered quickly.

I made a playpen and inside out cardboard board boxes which I go for free at the hardware store and top out of chicken wire. Justchicky: how cute does it get!??!

I like this. The one I made is just too short, I am going to need something bigger soon! Today I put a screen on top because half of them were trying to get out. It will be fine for my next chicks, when they are small and can't try to fly out.
