Chicks a-growing??

Hi all... I put some eggs under my broody hen, (6) and it is day 7 - I candled them and 5 have a dark blob about 1/3 of the egg- I couldn't see any veins though, or the little dark spot, but could be my lights not bright enough? Or do you think they are duds?
(I can try to take some pics )

Sounds as if they are developing right on schedule. My guess is that the eggs are too dark or your light is too weak to show veining.
