Hey guys!

My 4 week old chicks are still living in our bathroom, their brooder space is huge and they are very happy and healthy! We are struggling with bedtime though :) They have been without the heat lamp for about 4 days now. everything is fine and dandy until I turn off the main bathroom light, I leave a salt lamp on for them, and a nightlight above the brooder. (it is a soft light, I am trying to make it like a "dusk") after I do this they are peeping so loudly. It only lasts for about 30 minutes, but I hate to scare them! After the peeping stops they fall asleep, and before I go to bed I turn off the lamp, leaving the night light on so it is more like moonlight. Any advice? See the pics for our babies!

They have the light abruptly turned off. If you have a window open the blinds wide during the day and leave the light off so the natural sunlight goes down slowly.
They hate change. Wait till you move them out. It will sound like a chicken horror movie the first night in their big girl coop.
