chicks and ducklings

We got a few more chicks today and 2 ducks. We put them with our chicks we got yesterday. The chicks and ducks we got today are a week older. But the younger chicks are pecking at the ducklings,despite the size difference. Is this normal or should we put the ducks in there own spot?

Ducks are VERY messy despite their wonderful personalities. They make everything around them wet and that is not a conducive environment for baby chicks. Id separate them. Grats on your babies

I kept mine together until just the past week
so....2 weeks together
they splash the water everywhere, so the litter needs to be changed quite often


I'm planning on a couple more ducks tmw depending what comes in and I'll put those in with the chicks for now
