I love those old musicals - was singing the kids 'selections from the Music Man' (my own badly arranged medley of tunes from the show with my own lyrics about my kids rather than the 'real' words) the other day on the way to school.

I know when they get bigger they will see the show and think - Oh, mom wasn't making up those songs after all??!!??

Oklahoma is my FAVORITE musical, but I also really like the King and I, and Carousel. I could never get into South Pacific though.
That's probably the ONLY Roger's and Hamerstein I didn't care for.
