hello, its thechickengoesRAWR (im on my moms thingy) and one of my chickens killed a frog..should i let him keep his find or no?

WHAT??? Chickens are omnivorous and need animal protein. Unless it is a poisonous breed of frog, I say let the chicken eat it.

I say let the chick keep it. I would think it wouldn't eat it if it wasn't any good. My gals and guys have eaten so many ants and other bugs in the last couple of days that I've only been needing to put a couple scoops of feed in the feeders a day for 18 chicks! It's crazy! At first I thought that they were not feeling well or something else not good, but then I noticed just how much they were catching on their own that I'm not worried at all. One of the largest chicks (8 weeks), I'm sure I've seen her catch over a dozen carpenter ants just today.

i meant large animal/not bugs and worm carnivores. sorry. i forgot they eat bugs and stuff.
But frogs prolly arent the best...

Not only do chickens eat frogs, they eat lizards, snakes, worms and baby mice.

Mine will hack a mole, snake, mouse, whatever to death and eat it. They will eat anything that doesn't eat them first.

Remember that chickens are basically just little fluffy dinosaurs. It kind of puts the whole "It ate WHAT???" reaction in to perspective.
