Chicks and Grit, DE

Do chicks need grit to digest their crumbles? Any point in giving them DE at this stage?

They don't need grit to eat their chick starter. They shouldn't need grit until they start to eat outside food or treats. I'd worry about giving them DE now because of respiratory issues. Wait until they are grown.
