Chicks and noise exposure

I have kind of a weird concern.... My chicks are in their brooder in my garage with a constant humming noise from our well pump. When they go to the coop in 3 weeks, will they adjust to the quiet out there or are they going to be "conditioned" to this noise they've been listening to for 4+ weeks?

They will adjust.

They should only need the heat lamp for 6 weeks (until fully feathered, even on the head), unless you are having cold wintery weather.

So they should be out in the coop at 6 weeks or so, from my experience.

Thanks for your reply! I am sure once they experience the quiet outside they will be in heaven. I think the constant pump noise probably bothers me more than it does them. Don't want to create neurotic chickens
