Hi, I'm new so I hope I'm posting this in the right place.
My husband and I got 6 chickens just over a week ago. We got an 8-week old Russian Orloff and a 4-week old RIR from a local farm and also got a Blue Andalusian, Golden-Laced Wyandotte, Buff Orpington and another RIR, all 4-weeks from Murray McMurray Hatchery.

The last 4 days or so have been pretty hot (high 80s to low 90s), yesterday it poured and the run got soaked, and now today it's low 70's and breezy. Usually when I go out to the coop, they run over to me but today I've been out there twice and they just stay all huddled up in the corner of the run. Should I be concerned about the 4-week olds being too young to be out there during a drastic weather change like that? I'm mostly worried about the Blue because she's much smaller than the other 4-weekers. I've attached pictures so you can see what their feathers are like currently.

I know I probably shouldn't worry but they're my babies

I don't know about chickens, but the crazy weather has certainly affected our goats for the worse. Lots of colds, worm problems, coccidiosis, pneumonia, etc. The ducks and geese seem okay, except for a mild case of the sniffles a few weeks ago. Honestly, I would play it safe. We know that sudden weather changes aren't good for people; why take a chance with the poultry? Maybe try some ACV in their water. It's good for all manner of ailments, human, caprine, or avian. Just don't put it in if your waterer is metal.
