Chicks are 2 weeks old today..... getting concerned about coccidia

Oh so there are different types of cups as well?? What are the gravity ones like?

So there are vertical and horizontal nipples and trigger and gravity cups? Am I on track?

The gravity cups automatically fill to the set level and the weight of the water in the cup shuts off flow to them and as they are drank from the weight reduces and allows them to refill. The trigger cups have a yellow trigger that must be depressed to activate filling. As soon as the bird lets off the trigger flow stops.

In normal use trigger cups have very little water in the cup, most people think they are faulty because of this but that's how they work, but quail can drink them completely dry without activating the trigger, larger birds like juvenile to adult chickens hit the trigger as they drink and it keeps adding water every drink they take.
