I have 8 eggs in my incubator. 2 have hatched already, and only one more external pip. It is day 21. Are the other eggs no good or are they just slower at pipping? Waiting is killing me

. Also, my humidity is at 64%, I can't get it any higher. Thanks everyone im just getting impatient!

64% is good humidity in my experience. I just hatched 20 out of 24 this past weekend. I usually give them until day 23 to hatch, others say to give them to day 25.

Assuming none are currently pipped, you could always try tapping on the eggs and then placing the large end up to your ear. You can often hear the chicks peeping inside. If any are pipped though, try to avoid opening the incubator to prevent the drop in humidity drying out the membrane.

Congrats, now be patient with the other eggs, give them another day or two to see if they hatch. Before you discard them, you can candle them to see if there is any movement inside the egg or do a float test. If you decide to do a float test, make sure the water temperature is about 100 degrees or same temperature as in the incubator and the bowl is deep enough for the egg to float. The egg will vibrate or move if there is a live chick inside, if nothing happens, most likely is dead.

My humidity has dropped to 60% in the past hour. My water reserve is full and now 2 chicks have pipped. Will they be able to hatch with humidity that low? Im hoping it doesn't keep decreasing...
