Some of my chicks are hatching. Should I take the dry ones from the incubator or should I leave everything alone until its all over? There is water on the windows. Would lifting the top hurt the ones that are only pipped?

Leave that incy shut until it's over...The chicks will be just fine because they still have a yolk to absorb.....You don't want to release your humidity because that might affect the other chicks that haven't hatched out of their shells yet.

Leave it closed, they can stay in there for up to 48 to 72 hrs before needing food or water.

It's not that but they are moving the eggs that are not hatched yet and I am afraid they are injuring the unhatched ones.

leave them in, opening the bator now will realese the humidity thats in there and you could shrink wrap the ramining chicks that have yet to hatch. the ones that have hatched are just fine the chirping they do,and the bumping the other eggs, can also help draw out the unhatched chicks to

Ok, but I was concerned because they are being really rough, jumping on the other eggs and rolling them around.

Just think about how they are under a Momma hen in nature. They get jostled under her and they will still be ok.

Congratulations, too!

They will be fine, and congratulations on your babies
