CHICKS ARE HERE! Poop?

We are so excited to start our new journey with our girls! Let me introduce you to the girls!! We have our Buff Orpington (yellow one) and her name is Mrs. Waffles! Next we have a Black Australorp (the black one with a solid black head) her name is Cupcake! And then we have a Barred Rock chicken (the chick with the little yellow dot on top of her head) it looks like one had a little diarrhea is that normal? What’s normal poop for 2 day old?

I dont see a poop pic however you're going to see all sorts of different looks in the poo. So I'm just going to say yes, normal. Not all poo is firm. You'll see watery poo's and cecal poo's (smells the worst, looks like mud pie,) likely it's all normal, just be on the lookout for red poo indicating coccidiosis. Keep temps lower so you don't deal with pasty butt. Read lot's about starting chicks here on BYC!! Good luck, enjoy!
