These two hatched two days ago, and we are still waiting to see if the remaining few eggs will hatch. I haven't been able to monitor the eggs with this one because miss Berta hardly ever got off the eggs. However, when she stands up to re-adjust everyone, I can see a few more eggs under there. We shall see! In the mean time, here's some pics of the babies :) I am curious about something though-the black one has tiny little feathers poking straight from it's behind, but the yellow one does not. Could this possibly indicate anything like gender?

While I have read that pullet tails develop faster than cockerels, I doubt its validity; especially on a newly hatched chick of two days.
