Chicks are out now what??!!

My baby chicks are out what do i do now dow i change temperature and humidity? Help

Congratulations!

They can stay in the incubator at the same temp and humidty as it is until they are dry. After that put them in the brooder with the light rather close to the ground. Take each chick and dip their beak in the water to show them where the water is. They should automatically find the food.

Prepare for cuteness

What temp do i keep the brooder?

Did you get a brooding lamp? It looks like this:

What I did was hang the light from the ceiling rather close to the floor of the brooder. Hold your hand under it. You can feel the heat. The chicks, when they get cold, will group under the light. The brooder has to be big enough that the chicks can GET AWAY from the heat if it to hot for them. If you see the chicks staying just outside of the light then raise it up a little.

I never knew the temp of the brooder. I just watched how the chicks did around the light.

yes i did get one and ok ill do what you did andvwhat happends

the first week they r in the brooder, the temp must be 95 degrees F.
Then every week after that, u decrease the temp by degrees until temp reaches 70 degrees F.
Thats when u STOP decreasing the temp.

Have fun wit yo babies! lol
