Hi,

At the moment 4 chicks have hatched in my incubator out of 9 eggs. Another egg jhas just pipped. The chicks that have hatched are fully dry and have been in the incubator for 5-18 hours. However they have started to peck at the polysterine. What should i do?

Thanks

Just leave them be - because the other egg has pipped it would be best to just leave them alone until it has hatched & dried too.

I learned the hard way - lock down means lock down so they dont dry out.

The styrene wont hurt them. Its not digestable & will just pass through.
