I am still losing 1 chick a day, perfectly fine and then dead, they are now 10 days old, I got them last Saturday, and they have been dieing since. I received a post from another person who received Red Leghorns from the same hatchery and all of hers died, and they sent her a second batch and they all died. Like her she got other birds with them and they are striving. I don't have enough left for a flock, and at this rate in 7 days I won't have to worry. I really feel that I need to cull them all. It is heartbreaking but I don't know what else to do. All of my other chicks are just fine, my Ameracauna's and Buckeye's are thriving. I received 10 Buckeye's with the Leghorns. The temp is correct, the bedding is pine shavings, their food is non medicated, their poop is fine, still dealing with pasty butt. Help!!

sulmate ,polyvisol and medicated chick feed. i know i know EVERYBODY hates medicated chick feed, but, i start chicks on it, and i have good outcomes with pastey butt.
