What's the temperature where you are???

Heavens, I haven't been here for about five pages, so not going back far, sorry. But had to come report we hit 50F today! :celebrate What a shocker! It melted a lot but it gets down to 19F tonight so the puddles will freeze. It says 47F for tomorrow though so will melt it all again lol.
We've had daytime highs in the upper 30's F for the past few days, so there's been a good bit of melt-and-freeze here, too. The paths we cleared are now mud or ice rivers, depending on where the sun's shining (or not!) The rest of the world is a solid 4-5 inch deep ice pack - and much deeper where we piled the stuff we moved.

While I'm thrilled to see the melting, this icy mess is as frustrating as the mass of snow. It's too dangerous to be out past dark and when it's warmer (I can't believe I'm calling 37F "warmer!") the mud is everywhere. I'm not a neatnik by any measure, but I find myself de-mudding my doggo's massive feet multiple times a day ... and still we have a muddy mess! C'mon, Spring ... we're READY!

Welcome back - it's been soooo long 😉

I can only dream of hitting 50F (10C) - but it will be above freezing during the daytime here so that's very welcome. It's those overnight temps that are so cold, and the fact it takes all day to reach those plus side temps. But! I will take it over the -27C from last weekend.

I hear you, have to say though, I am ready for mud! And mosquitoes!

3C, feels like -13 (37 / 9F). Wind 35mph with gusts up to 50. Raining right this moment but also snowing. Looks like it should die down a fair bit by about midday though (3:20am here now) and we might even get a glimpse of the sun.
