Chicks' beaks cracking and pealing??

Just what the thread title says...some of my 9-10 week old chicks beaks are pealing or cracking. My barred Plymouth rocks are one of the worst ones. The top layer of the beak is basically gone near the tip. One of my black stars beaks have almost split in half at the tip as well. Thankfully, this is only at the tip of the beak to the middle of the beak. Is this a vitamin deficiency?? Thanks.

Give them infants multi vitamin few drops or soft food might be help
