Chicks Being Attacked by Guinea?

We have a bunch of bantam hens and one guinea living free-range. Recently, three of our hens have had batches of chicks.
In the previous batches of chicks, only one chick has reached maturity.

The chickens and the guinea have been living peacefully for over 2 years, but recently I saw the guinea rush at a hen who had a group of chicks with her. We have many broody chickens, but with each batch, rarely one reaches maturity without being killed.

Half of the recent batch of chicks has been killed between two days ago and now, and I am wondering if the guinea is the culprit.

I haven't read anything on the internet about this, but I was wondering if anyone else has has this same problem or heard of anything like this.

My guineas have not taken much issue with baby chicks yet. They seems more protective rather than aggressive, but the guineas are pretty young yet.

Keep an eye on your chickens and guineas and see if either is being argressive towards the chicks. If they are, rid yourself of the mean guinea!
