My chicks somehow managed to dump their gallon hanging waterer into their bedding. I'm guessing they flew up and landed on it and tipped it?

No more water at night I guess

I was really peeved, those shavings were CLEAN but I had to toss some of them so it wouldn't be too damp.

Is it plastic? I have read that it's not a good idea to hang them, even though supposedly they were designed for hanging, because they don't hold up well with that pressure on them. Need to be set on concrete blocks or whatever.

Hate to see them without water at night unless you provide it very early in the AM.

Yeah me too, but I tried. Yes it's a plastic one but it's "supposed" to be a hanging waterer

Is 6:20am early enough

That's when my photocell bug light turns off, so I go let the kids out.
