Thanks for all the advice. In total I've lost 15 baby chicks, but since I got 2 free ones they were only able to refund for 13, which is fine close enough. Everyone is doing fine now, I haven't had any that died today or yesterday. I remember when I went to pick up the chicks, the worker told me that they had arrived "yesterday." Now this was my first time ordering chicks so I don't know if the chicks normally arrive the day before to the post office and you get them the next day? But I don't think that's right. I think when they called me to pick up the chicks that morning it was referring to Ideal chicks, which weren't suppose to come until the next day. It it's true that means the chicks was left there in the post office overnight uncared for. Because when I opened the box the chicks were cold and very weak. Meyer's chicks and Ideal chicks are in separated brooder, I have yet to lose any of the Silkies I received from Ideal.
