here is what i learned....
1. this is horribly confusing and once you figure it out it may be too late
2. if they are too far gone there isnt anything you can do
3. yes! treat your whole flock! and wash wash wash
4. change all their litter out every day
5. its supposed to be species specific
6. if you see a chick that is droopy - you can dose him directly by using a non-needled syringe and drip it in their mouth
7. fresh medicated water everyday
but the big thing i learned was....
there are several (nine??) strains of this that poultry get. corid only treats SOME OF THEM. when it wasnt effective i switched to sulmet and that is working really well.
once they get their little feet under them i'd switch to some yogurt and some apple cider vinegar. but their little bellies are so little you can only get so much down them. the probiotics and ACV dont combat the disease - it just beefs up the good 'bugs' in their bellies so they are healthier over all.
