I lost a bunch of chicks this month and I'm starting to get worried. Only their wings grow and they become lethargic. It has happened before but this month sucked.

Only 3 out of 11 dorkings are healthy and we got the eggs from a store. The broiler doesn't seem right (I have 8 of them and the others seem to be fine) I only sometimes give them protein food from the store as I raise my chickens the natural, organic way. The last one (I believe is a kadaknath) wasn't bought as its mom laid the eggs. It had 2 siblings and one died. This one worries me the most.

Is it because of the environment? (they're always outside, on a huge yard). I hope its not some illness. Is it genetic? My kadaknaths didn't die this way before.

P.S.- I also had 5 layer chicks and 3 of them died. One had dispnea.

Hello Elaol183. Welcome to BYC.
A couple of those chicks look like they've got Coccidiosis.
Do you feed them anti coccidiosis chick food?

No. I don't know if they have diarrhea or not.
I've been raising my chickens on the same yard for 6 years.

What country are you in? If you are in the US then get Corid(a coccidiosis med) ASAP.
They look as though they do have coccidiosis. There are 9 strains of coccidiosis(I think?), and only two are characterized by bloody stool or diarrhea.

Another question I have is what are you feeding them? A low quality diet could cause issues like this.

That's why they're getting coccidiosis. They pick it up from the ground. Ideally you should move coops once in a while to minimize the risk.
Get them proper chick food and medication for those that are still alive.

I'm from Serbia. The yard has absolutely no grass (it's like a wasteland). I do give them grinded corn, grass which I cut and bread mixed with my after-meal remains, in fat, 3 or 4 times a day. I have plenty of them now and I'll slaughter some soon (I think I have 20). They sometimes don't eat everything I give them, usually the bread one.

I don't think that's a satisfactory diet.
If you can't or won't buy pre made chicken food then you need to read a bit about what chickens need in their diet and provide it with things like peanuts, green veg, calcium (egg shells)

Well I have always kept them in one small abandoned house which is like 100 years old (shh...) and I don't really know if there surely is coccidia in it. Other than that I can only keep them in an enclosed pig sty which I don't use. As for the yard there's nothing I can do.
What do you mean by proper chick food? They're always outside with their mother and they eat what I give them, which I think is alright. I rarely give them supplements.

I don't want to appear rude, but obviously it isn't alright because as you have written and the pictures you've posted show, your chicks are dying!
