Chicks dying??

Do any of you loose chicks just out of the blue. It seems like I loose 1-2 chicks from each hatch. They live for a week or 2 and then just get week and die. My last 2 hatches had been great and thought I had found a new trick but now I've got 1 acting like he wants to die.

Occasionally I have one that hatches not quite right, but they usually die in hours not weeks. Try some vit/electrolytes in their water, it may help. I have heard great things about sav-a-chick gel stuff. Good health/nutrition of parent stock, well sanitized incubator, steady temps and humidity, keeping hands scrubbed when incubating and brooding.......... etc, ect, ect

I have found that my incubated chicks are Much healthier than shipped day olds. I do get a loss or 2 from hatchery chicks.

sometimes they can have coccdia and not show symptoms.
