Chicks eating Aphids?

I've heard aphids can carry diseases and I have a lot of aphids in the garden right now. Are there really any bugs chickens shouldn't eat due to diseases or can I just sit back and relax?

My chicks LOVE aphids and I consider that fact a double plus. First, the chicks are getting a free, organic high protein treat and second, I'm getting rid of aphids. I had one lupin plant that was just infested with them. I'd hold a paper plate under the plant, shake the leaves and dozens would fall down on the plate. When the plate went into the pen, they'd be gone in seconds. The chicks were like little velociraptors. Within a few days I didn't have any more aphids.

Great News, I'm so glad to hear that aphids are yummy snacks to them. I've got Swiss chard that's turned into aphid chard
