I have a week old chick with one eye that has not opened. She is eating, drinking, active, growing well and otherwise is normal. I cleaned it with a very wet cloth, thinking that maybe there was some goo that was glueing it shut, then I pried it open and put some eye lubricant in it. When I opened it, it looked normal and she seems to have a blink response, but she will not open it on her own. Any ideas? Thanks!
