It is possible that she has a sinus infection from a respiratory disease, such as mycoplasma or coryza. Coryza tends to cause a rotten odor. Does she have any coughing, sneezing, nasal drainage, or wheezing? There is probably pus inside the eye, and it will need to be removed by squeezing it out or with use of cotton balls and tweezers. Can you clean her eye with saline, and apply antibiotic ointment? She also may benefit from oral or injectable antibiotics, such as Tylan (tylosin) or oxytetracycline, or sulfa antibiotics.
