I have one little chick who's eyes keep getting stuck closed. I have been bathing her eyes with warm water and it just happens again!
She doesn't seem to be doing very well. Should I give her some of that VetRX stuff, I just don't know! I also have this eye ointment but don't know for sure if it's safe for a tiny little chick. I used it on my kittens.
What can I do, please let me know as soon as you can, I am so worried about her.

Also still worried about the little one that has a puffy crop. Trying to do what I can for him, did a couple things that was suggested to me.

If the ointment was safe for the kitten, it should be ok for the chick too! I had a peacock last year with a messed up eye that kept crusting up and a vet gave some ointment for it and she was just a few days old. So if it is from the vet I would use it! Good luck! Have you given her any vitamins or sugar water to boost her system? Yogurt might help too!

Was going to ask also should I isolate her?

I had some ointment that I had bought for a kitten and read on this forum that someone else was using the same type for chickens. I had one few days ago with one eye swollen shut. I have put this ointment in her eye for the past few days and it is MUCH better!

Edited to add: The chick did not like having ointment applied to its eyes one bit! You may need some help so one person can hold its head still and the other put the ointment in its eye.

Oh thankyou soooooooooooooo much! I'm going too try it NOW!

Got some in her eyes, fingers crossed here!!

What causes the eyes to crust over and stay shut in the first place? I have a couple that just started doing this and they are almost 2 weeks old. I have been using eye drops and then eye ointment at least 2-3 times a day.
