Chicks feathering at different rates?

Chicken newbie here...

I assume this is normal? Bought 6 chicks last Monday at Southern States...Out of my 6 (not sure what they are out, was told Australops), 3 have definate tail feathers, 1 maybe a little, and the other 2 I don't see anything yet. Some of them also have different wing feathers than the others, or at least longer...

Is any of this indicative of roos vs hens?
 
I'm a newbie too; Yup my hens feathered out faster than the 2 roosters. You might do a search and you will find other traits that help distinguish roosters v. hens. I'm not an expert so I don't want to mis quote anything. Loads of characteristic girls v. boys of the same breed. GL
