Chicks feathers seem like they are rotting away.

This chick seems to have feathers that are rotting away. She seems very healthy. Full of energy and interacts well with the others. It is not abuse from other chickens. Does anybody have a clue of what could be causing this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've seen this on battery hens. So it's weird to see it on a backyard chicken. I don't have experience with it but if it were me I would wash her off and put some Neosporin on it.

I haven’t seen this either but it looks like it may be a fungus , I’d wash her in some dawn dish soap , dry her well then put antibiotic ointment on the areas , then put her back under her light

your light isn’t to close is it? And she can get on the other side away from the light if needed?
