Spring is almost over, but that isn't stopping my Bipolar home town from having a complete several day gloomy weather forecast.

As some of you know my chickens were recently let out for their first few days (they've been doing great!) and they have yet to experience this type of completely gloomy weather.

I'm just not sure if I should let my chickens into their run (it's sheltered and beneath my porch, but it's still cold and wet outside) or if it's best for them to have a rest day inside their coop. (It's a very big nice coop)

They're 11-10 weeks old and I have a Buff Orpington, an Easter Egger, a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, a Plymouth Rock, and a Mystic Onyx. Those are all cold hardy breeds and have been doing great in our decently cold nights, I'm just not sure if water and cold is a safe combo.

Should I let them out for a few hours to let them get exercise and see the rain, or should I close the windows to their coop and let them have a quiet day. If the latter, what can I do to help make their experience safe and not miserable?

Thank you all again!
