I purchased 12 chicks from a small feed store as we were traveling south of the border to our casa. I am not sure what breed they are. The guy I purchased them from said they are all pullets (pollitas)! I probably will be lucky if they all indeed are pollitas. When I purchased them I think they were about or almost 1 week old. They all had 1" length wing feathers. I do not know what breed they are? Probably a mixture but I am posting photos to see if anyone would like to take a stab at possible breeds and ages. If they were a week old when I got them they would be 4 weeks old now! Thanks!

Looks like you have some barred rocks, maybe poor quality rhode island reds and not sure what the all black one is. What color are the foot bottoms? If pink, then most likely an austrolorp. If yellow, then a black jersey giant. I know you were passing through, but do you know where the feed store got their chicks? A local farmer, or a hatchery? If a local farmer, then these guys are probably mixed with something else as well.

Thanks for your response....poor quality?? I was thinking more of a mix with something RIR...Once they get a bit bigger I will repost photos...their feathers are so pretty with the mix they are!
