I'd like to let everyone know that I ordered 50 chicks from Strombergs Hatchery a couple of weeks ago and received them this past Friday. All the chicks made it alive and very active but I did lose one that looked very small compared to the rest of the chicks and had pasty but which I did try to treat. I didn't count all the chicks when I first received them but just had the chance to count a few minutes ago when I found them all laying down and napping, the sent me 4 extra chicks with the order.
I should also say that shipping was also included in the price of the chicks, but I do believe you have to order 25 chicks to get free shipping.
I'm very happy with the quality of the chicks and how quickly they shipped the chicks.
2 thumbs up for Strombergs! [IMG] [IMG]
  2. I really like strombergs as well. We ordered 2 pigeons from them, one which didnt make it, and they were very nice and went a replacement.
    May I ask, what breeds?

I bought 5 cuckoo marans, 5 leghorns, 5 california whites, 5 california greys, 5 production reds, and 25 cornish cross for meat. [IMG]
Out of all the egg layers I only bought 1 rooster which is a california grey.
I already have 10 hens and 1 rooster which is a Rhode Island red, the hens are rir, barred rock, austrolorp, and New Hampshire red.
