Chicks Go on an Outing - When?

It is stormy and rainy - I know it is too soon for my Week-Olds to go outside, and weather is not cooperating. But what weather is OK, and How Old to put them out on the grass? Buffs, if that makes any Difference.

Next - Floorplan of Coop is 3 Feet By Six Feet, with Two "Outsticker" Nesting Boxes that are 14 inches Square.....Is this too small for EIGHT Buffs?

I would take them out for an outing now if it were a sunny day, even if it was only a few minutes. I'd provide a box or something for them to go into if they wished. You can tell by their behavior whether they are too cold.

Coop size depends on many factors. In my climate, with plenty of breezy, well shaded outdoor space, that would be enough, although just enough. Here is a post with a good writeup on space:
