Chicks handicap

Oh, ok, that makes more sense! Sounds like they're going to be beautiful babies when they grow up! I'd love to see pics as they keep growing, (because really, who ever has enough chicken pictures in their lives? I know I sure don't especially during this pandemic!!!) Are a good portion of them showing barred rock type plumage? (I love that feather pattern! Tried to get a Cuckoo Maran pullet, but....she turned into a cockerel, so I'm still without that feather pattern in my flock, as I can't have roosters in the city....sigh.)

Hes to only one with 3 toes but he has 17 good brothers and sisters( same mother and father), they don't show the barred gene because the silver partridge gene killed it

Here are the parents:

I have one that is having hip issues & had curled toes on the same foot. Taped the toes, then a friend who raises chickens, pea fowl, pigs & sheep helped me to tape up her hip & checked her the next day & she was doing better. Well she still has her moments of good & then those that make me want to cry, she's eating & drinking when offered, oh how I wish I had that magic to wave & make things better. Any other input will be welcomed!

They shouldn't have too much of a ptoblem, especially if they hatched with their feet like that. I have a chick who lost her toes during shipping and she still walks just fine. Can't pick her out ofnthe crowd

Well, I appreciate all the help that I have found here, but I think she may have had other issues or possibly even got to cold, I lost her yesterday afternoon 😢
