Hes to only one with 3 toes but he has 17 good brothers and sisters( same mother and father), they don't show the barred gene because the silver partridge gene killed itOh, ok, that makes more sense! Sounds like they're going to be beautiful babies when they grow up! I'd love to see pics as they keep growing, (because really, who ever has enough chicken pictures in their lives? I know I sure don't especially during this pandemic!!!) Are a good portion of them showing barred rock type plumage? (I love that feather pattern! Tried to get a Cuckoo Maran pullet, but....she turned into a cockerel, so I'm still without that feather pattern in my flock, as I can't have roosters in the city....sigh.)
Well, I appreciate all the help that I have found here, but I think she may have had other issues or possibly even got to cold, I lost her yesterday afternoonThey shouldn't have too much of a ptoblem, especially if they hatched with their feet like that. I have a chick who lost her toes during shipping and she still walks just fine. Can't pick her out ofnthe crowd
