Suenrob, I know your excited. I can't help but love my silkies. I always love watching them grow. I posted so many pics I decided not to post all the broodies. Every silkie pen has one or two. My big black Orp sitting on eggs had two black Orp chicks this morning but she accidentally mashed one to death setting on it.

I know, I have a bunch of juvies too. I thought I would be done hatching but I have eggs coming this week and I am determined to keep hatching the buffs till I get enough of what I want for next year. My blacks are at a stand still so when I get a roo breeding again I need to hatch someof them.

My Orpingtons are pretty broody this time year too. I have one sitting on nothing. I gave her two eggs but they disappeared so I dont know what happened to them. I have one that just hatched a few weeks ago and another hatching today. I noticed you had buff Orps listed so you should have one before long

I just have 4 hens I got from Jody, one wanted to go broody right when I got them, but I wanted her to lay. We battled it out, she quit being broody and quit laying

So hopefully she decides to go broody again, this time I'd let her sit.

If you ever have buff orp eggs for sale, let me know. I'd like to add some other bloodlines!

Julie...
You have some Beautiful babies and mamas. Seeing those silkie babies give me the hatching itch...I did not hatch any silkies this year.

By the way...From your RIR eggs I have 2 chicks with Rosecombs.

I am very happy with all of them. They are big, pretty, healthy chicks.
