I have 9 babies about 1.5 weeks old. I moved them from the laundry room to the garage (with a heat lamp of course.) We are getting nights in the 20s and 30s still— hopefully the garage is staying about 20 degrees warmer.
I used a thermometer to check the temp and the brooder has areas between 65-95 degrees. Will they find the heat and be okay when the temps drop at night? They haven’t seemed to hang out much under the lamp like I thought they might. They kind of go along the edges and cuddle up together instead of where it’s nice and toasty. The brooder is big for just the 9 of them right now (4 ft diameter.)
