1 of my baby chicks took some time to come completely out of its shell. The shell was in half but it was hrs before she finally made it, I notice that she has some either membrane or egg white stuck to her and it looks quite solid. What should I do about it?

If it isn't hurting the chick, do nothing. Wait until the hatch is complete then remove the piece of membrane when you take the chicks from the incubator. If you've already taken the chicks from the incubator, dampen the stuck material and carefully peel it off.
A little vegetable oil helps remove hard fast stuck materials.

Hi, thankyou for your advice. The down on top of the chicks head is stuck down so I will try a little vegetable oil on it to try and soften it.
