Chicks in Scarves

They are so cute.
Tried knitted jackets on a couple of mine (these are sopposed to be for rescued battery hens) as Amy, the one in my avatar had been feeling the cold last winter. She was not impressed when I tried to put it on and soon managed to remove it herself. So much for trying to help her!
Her friend Posey liked hers much better.

Very Cute! I actually have run across some photos on BYC of Showgirls with custom knit scarves around their naked necks, too.

Hey, we live pretty close to each other. I'm in the general area of 10 mile and Pine Island.
Hey, I was just over by you picking strawberries this morning! I loaded up two big trays and feel exhausted.

Oh my goodness I love it! I am so making my silkies recycled wool "sweaters" when they get older.

The chicks did not cooperate very well and it took lots of patience and gentle repositioning to get them all standing the same way. Here are a few of the "out takes". The one on its back had splayed legs and when it wanted to sleep it would flop over onto its back. I guess the scarf made her too sleepy... I made her a splint of surgical tape and she is as good as new now. The scarves and my photo lights made them really warm and cozy and all they wanted to do was lie down and sleep. :)

They look like fashion models---posing so nicely for the camera!

I love it!
