Today our little ladies moved to the teenager coop from their brooder. They have been without a brooder light outside for 4 days and doing well. The weather was nice today so we decided to go ahead. They will still be sleeping in their brooder, just inside the coop sitting on the floor. Most found their way in by 7pm but I had to wrangle two up and put them in the coop and lock them in there. They can still roam the coop floor at night, just not the run.

Coming out of the carrier...not sure about this place

Notice the two catching the wind under their wings and flying. They loved it.

Adorable! I got a kick out of mine when they graduated to larger quarters and started to feel wind under their wings, lol. For now they're in a huge dog crate and finally able to stay in the screen room instead of the bathroom. Thank goodness!!!

Yah moving them outside was a great day. LOL They became SO loud in the end. They seem so much more content outside. Tomorrow our Roo's are being "processed" so these are my only babies for now!

I figured you lived south, I can see actual green things in your photos - I'm envious. We've been riding temps up and down - 60 and then later this week back to 30's and light snow ( ugh). They sure look like teen agers, I'm surprised no more than 2 tried to skip curfew.

Yes, it's been very warm. We've been out and about a lot this week. I suspect we are due for several weeks of off and on again showers though.

They certainly act like teenagers.

They chase each other. I threw some mealworms down and there were atleast 20 on the ground but they all wanted to fight over the same one.
