Chicks in the Ozarks

Oh, I feel like I've found a support group, very few would appreciate my devotion (obsession?) to my flock. I just had to enlarge my coop to accommodate my 5 new girls for a total of 14. I've had this batch for about 6 years, but kept hens about 30 years ago in my San Diego backyard (right next to the swimming pool). I had to bribe the neighbors with fresh eggs, but that's another story. I now feel I've come home to beautiful SW Missouri along with my four dogs and long suffering husband (just ask him.) I'm looking forward to spending time learning and sharing on this site.
