Chicks in the tub

My chicken house is big and we have made it more secure with better outer wall support. I'm pushing to get the door built so I can move them out there. I think they have to go now as I am very worried about space. If it doesn't get built tomorrow I'll move half into another space. I have a dog cage and a bird cage. I hope those work till I get them outside. I'll make the fenced area as big as I can. The chicken brooder house is around 12x12 with lots of places to perch penchant 6 nesting boxes. Worried now.

I have a brooder house...that's what my dad called it? Its a little house about 10x10 maybe, with 6 nesting boxes and few perching things in it. It has a roof - like a small barn looking shed. It had a little chicken door for when they are older to go out and run. This is where I need to build an enclosed area. I have an old big wooden swing frame that i was thinking of attaching to that door. I'll either put fencing around that frame or build a bigger fenced area. I have a couple dogs that I'm sure will hunt chickens. My dad was good at talking to dogs to convince them not to eat chickens (some kind of gift or something) so he just let his chickens run.
I secured the house with minor repairs and have put the chicks and ducklings in the brooder house in a big baby pool with a couple heat lamps. When I go out to feed and water them I see about 2-3 chicks out of the pool running around their house so I make sure I have water outside the pool. I'm glad to have them out of my tub and they are doing well out in their new house.
