chicks just hatched...HELP

We decided to let our silkie keep her eggs and sit on them. We didn't know if any were fertile. Went to check on her today and there are three baby chicks under her. She was sitting on 16. How do I know if any of the others will hatch? She is currently in a coop with a silkie roo and about 20 two month old chicks. Do I need to move her and the babies to somewhere by themselves until the babies are bigger? I feel like a horrible chicken mama, but I really didn't expect them to hatch. Any advice is appreciated.

I would move them to a safer location,...if all the eggs were put under her at the same time,..I would give it a few days and if they don't hatch,..I would pitch them. I also would mover her after dark,..thats JMO though.

Just checked on her. 2 more hatched!

Getting Ms. Janie a place ready in the basement and will move her and the new chicks later tonight. I'm not sure if I've ever been so excited!
