I thought I heard cheeping under the barn floor last night...I was right. This morning I found one of the girls had been sitting on eggs that somehow got under the barn floor. We have "mama" who is an ameracauna with 7 chicks we could reach. There are more under the floor and we are wondering how to coax them out. The chicks are all different colors...some look like buffs, one looks like a bsl with a white dot on his head...and some that look like rhode islands. we have all of these chickens. What a lovely surprise!
